2/ THE JUDGING
PROCESS
There are 5 judging criteria as detailed below in section 3. Each criterion will be
awarded a score between 0-4 points.
Site visits: Judges will be invited to add an additional 8Lifting the spirits9 score of up to
6 points after the site visit.
The maximum number of points that can be awarded to each entry is 26.
The Customer Experience Award is assessed through a structured, two-stage judging
process.
Desk Review: All submissions are reviewed the full judging panel. This desk
assessment determines whether entries meet the required standard to progress to
a judges9 site visit.
Site Visit: Shortlisted entries will receive a judges9 visit to test how customer
experience is delivered in practice and to meet the team responsible for CX
delivery.
The winner in each category will be determined by the highest score awarded
following the judges9 visit.
All shortlisted buildings will be showcased at the National Awards Dinner in October,
with the winners announced on stage to an audience of up to 1,200 industry
professionals. Bookings for the National Awards open 3 June 2026.
