No. 1 Poultry is one of the City’s defining landmarks - a Grade II* listed building
designed by James Stirling, occupying one of London’s most prominent positions. It is
now being remastered into 120,000 sq. ft of headquarters office space, c.7,000 sq. ft of
retail, and public and private roof gardens - pairing one of London’s most infamous
buildings with the performance modern occupiers expect.
The tour traces the building’s history, the complexity of its retrofit and
M&E upgrade strategy, and the product thinking shaping its next
chapter - from all-electric operation and BREEAM Outstanding and EPC
A targets to expansive floorplates, civic connections at ground level, and
panoramic City views.
